As part of co-operation started with Southern Glazer’s of Canada the company’s team from British Columbia hosted a wine tasting event on the 24th of April in Vancouver co-organized by The SOMM Journal, Vinum Tokaj International LLC. and Mad Wine Ltd.

Furmint to be launched in different provinces of Canada within the frame of the contract signed with Southern Glazer’s was presented to some high profile participants - sommeliers, wine educators, wine writers, wine buyers, liquor store owners and key accounts - at the Chamber Restaurant.

MÁD FURMINT representing a village level integration, Dry by Tokaj, the first wine produced as result of wine region level integration, a single vineyard selection Szent Tamás Furmint and MÁD Late Harvest were presented and offered for tasting to the participants.

The wines of Mad Wine Winery and Szent Tamás Winery, being present with their products in 35 countries of the world, are among those few ones which compete regularly on international wine competitions, win more and more prestigious awards and as flagships of the Tokaj Wine Region are ready to debut and achieve a great success in Canada, too.
